Forex Brokers
Choosing a Forex Broker
In the highly competitive world of Forex trading, the thought of going through the list of all available brokers can be quite daunting. For a person with no experience in this matter, deciding which broker is the best can be overwhelming. This section of the website discusses what to look for in a good broker.
Security:
One of the most important things that a good broker must have is the highest level of security possible. After all, would you entrust a large sum of your money if they told you they were legitimate without giving you any proof?
Fortunately for the investors, it is quite an easy task to check the credibility of a broker. There are agencies throughout the world that have the trustworthy brokers registered. Never hand over your money to a broker without first checking that he/she is registered with the applicable agency in their country.
Cost of Transaction:
It does not matter who you are, there will always be a cost for any transaction. Every time that you enter a trade a charge will be made for the spread. It may be necessary sometimes to pay a higher transaction to get a more reliable broker.
Deposits and Withdrawals:
A good broker will not give you any problems when you want to deposit or withdraw your earnings. They are only holding your funds for the sole reason of trading. If your broker does not release the funds in a speedy manner then you must consider changing to another one.
Trading Platform:
Most online trading activity is done through the broker’s trading platform. This means that they need to have a trading platform that is stable and user friendly. Always ask about the trading platform when looking for a broker. It must have technical and charting tools that are easy to use.
Execution:
A broker must under the regulatory rules, fill you in the best price possible for your orders. There is no reason, under normal market conditions for your broker not to fill you at the market price when you hit the buy or sell button.
Customer Service:
Your broker should be available to you when you contact him/her when there are any problems. Some of the brokers are very helpful during the opening process, but afterwards their customer support in almost non-existent. Look for a broker with a good “after sales” reputation.
